July 5th – First appearance on TV

During the course of this week CITY 5  had training sessions and the Urbansoccer Tournament to prepare for the Mondial de France. We also had the amazing opportunity to appear on TV, on the channel Bein Sport to talk about our project.

City 5 ambassadors, Arsène Wenger, Bernard Mendy and Darren Tulett offered us much needed support and visibility among the French crowd. Thanks to them and to the implication of the players and their families and friends, the team India was able to gather quite a big group of supporters for the big competition on the weekend. It was an honor for them to get the chance to make an appearance on the French  television and have the support from such iconic players and journalists.
