July 7th – First day of the Mondial de France

9:00 am. CITY 5 team arrive at the Stade des Bertisettes in Viroflay in the suburbs of Paris. The whole team was anxious to start playing. The Mondial de France starts off with an opening ceremony where each team from each country was called out to the center of the field and the captains were given an opportunity to say a few words in the name of their fellow players.

The first game against Senegal was pretty difficult. At first, during the pool matches, it was hard for the players to put their head in the game so early on in the competition. The final score was 3-2 for  Senegal. Team was really disappointed and it was complicated to focus on the coming games. After that she lost 2-0 against the Caribbean which really motivated her to get back in the game. This is how Team India won 2-1 against the Team World and 2-0 against Congo.
